Chad Allen welcomes responsibility, teamwork and achieving ambitious goals. He graduated from The United States Military Academy West Point with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and served as a Field Artillery officer in the U.S. Army. Chad’s career in financial services began in 1996, when he entered Merrill Lynch’s Financial Advisor training program. Graduating from Merrill’s Professional Development Program, he attained club recognition status before moving in 1999 to Smith Barney to assume his first management role.
During his tenure with UBS, beginning in 2005, Chad’s career evolved steadily upward through a series of leadership positions that included supervising and growing both private client and institutional businesses while also holding various positions of increasing responsibility within National Sales. Simultaneously, Chad earned his MBA from Columbia Business School, from which he graduated in 2011. He joined Oppenheimer in August, 2015 as the Branch Manager of the 200 Park Avenue office.
In 2015, Chad was recognized in the prestigious On Wall Street magazine as one of the Top 10 Branch Managers. In 2014 he was in among the magazine’s listing of the Top 100 Branch Managers*. He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analysis (CAIA®) designation from the CAIA Association.
In addition, Chad is an active participant in community service and has a passion for helping to support veterans and their families.
