Biography

Most people juggle separate relationships with a financial advisor, tax preparer, and estate planner, each operating in a silo. Mike’s practice integrates these disciplines. He pairs Oppenheimer’s investment platform with hands-on tax and estate planning expertise, coordinating with a trusted network of local CPAs and estate planning attorneys to ensure every financial decision works in concert rather than isolation.

Mike advises high-performing individuals and families, including attorneys, financial professionals, entrepreneurs, small business owners, athletes, and startup employees who require thoughtful guidance through financial complexity. He also serves as a fiduciary advisor to small business retirement plans.

Mike began his career at KPMG, where he advised private equity firms on tax exposure remediation and buy-side due diligence. He later joined GW & Wade, a boutique RIA in Wellesley, serving alongside a senior advisor overseeing more than $750 million in client assets. There, he built customized portfolios, prepared more than 200 annual tax filings for individuals, trusts, and businesses, developed estate planning outlines, created retirement projections, and coordinated employer-sponsored equity and deferred compensation strategies.

Raised in Hull, Massachusetts, Mike and his brothers spent summers working at Jake’s Seafood, the family business owned by their grandfather and uncle. He also worked at his father’s civil litigation firm in Boston throughout college and law school. He credits these experiences with shaping his work ethic and resilience.

Mike earned his JD from New England Law | Boston and is a graduate of Boston College High School and Providence College. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and holds the SIE, Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 licenses.
