Biography

Luis Abreu is a Financial Advisor and OMEGA Portfolio Manager with Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in Saddle Brook, NJ. With over a decade of experience in the financial services industry, Luis is dedicated to helping high-net-worth individuals, families, and organizations achieve their financial goals. He combines his passion for the markets with a deep understanding of investing to provide tailored strategies.

Luis focuses on growth investing, financial planning, and alternative investments for qualified investors.  His expertise extends to portfolio management, retirement forecasting, asset conservation, and estate planning. He also provides guidance to small businesses and non-profit organizations on cash management, investment strategies, and retirement plan implementation.  Luis is bilingual and can provide all his services in Spanish.

Prior to joining Oppenheimer in 2023, Luis served as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. His background also includes experience as an equity & options trader and as a management consultant at Ernst & Young.

Luis holds an Engineering and Economics degree from Stevens Institute of Technology and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Incorporated. In his free time, Luis enjoys cooking, fitness training, traveling, basketball, and following financial markets.  He lives in Fort Lee, NJ with his partner, Cathy.
