About the Branch

For nearly twenty years, Oppenheimer has served the Pacific Northwest, from our Seattle and Bellevue offices, by curating the financial needs of high-net-worth individuals, corporations and non-profit organizations. We offer Financial Professionals autonomy to build their own businesses, and the opportunity to combine the considerable resources and tools of a national boutique with their own experience and management style.

We value individuals, and honor the partnerships we have by supporting independence, offering open architecture, and encouraging creative and entrepreneurial thinking. We value your freedom to apply financial strategies, establish a business model, and focus on your mission. A hallmark of our culture is keeping lines of communication short, with unfettered access to firm management and department leaders, decision makers and specialized professionals. The end result is a combination of positive team collaboration and broad based support from the Firm, with minimized distractions; an increasingly rare occurrence in our industry.

Boutique offerings

Our dedicated Financial Professionals work side-by-side with clients and their families to plan, invest, monitor and transfer wealth via offerings not always available at other firms. We offer strategies and specific solutions to high net-worth individual and institutional investors, with opportunities to participate in a broad array of advisory and private equity strategies, and alternative investments for qualified investors. These strategies may include direct investments in companies, as well as indirect investments into funds, and funds of funds (both primary and secondary).

A Culture to Succeed

WALK To End Hydrocephalus

Oppenheimer’s Seattle and Bellevue offices recently participated in the Seattle WALK to end Hydrocephalus. Oppenheimer Financial Professional, Lou Conyard, and his wife Betsy Conyard, have been involved in organizing Team Oppenheimer and participating in this effort for years.

Seattle Mariner Game Outing

A big shout out to our partners at Oppenheimer Life Agency for hosting a Suite at the Mariner game last week to watch the boys of summer. We had more than 20 of our employees from Seattle and Bellevue offices attend the game and saw Julio Rodriguez hit another home run. A great time was had by all as we wind down summer! More good things to come.

Customer Asset Protection

Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. (Oppenheimer) and its predecessor firms have been offering investment services since 1881. We are a financially sound institution committed to maintaining a strong, conservatively managed balance sheet, disciplined risk management and robust internal controls designed to protect our clients’ assets. In the unlikely event that Oppenheimer becomes insolvent, there are multiple layers of protection which safeguard our customers’ holdings.

Summer Bash and Retirement Party

summer bash and retirement party

Last week we got our Seattle and Bellevue branches together to celebrate summer and send Mark Wilson off to write the next chapter in his life. Ever since he joined our Seattle office in 2008 we have enjoyed his hijinks and dry sense of humor. He was full of surprises and he will be missed by all of his customers and by us as well. He filled us in on all of the volunteer work he is involved with and we wish he and his family all of the best in their retirement years.
