MICHAEL JOHN SQUELLATI
Michael read a quote from Mark Twain when he was young that said, “Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life,” and that is exactly what he did.
Born and raised in the heart of Silicon Valley, Michael bought his first technology stock when he was 15, was a 4-year scholarship athlete at UC Santa Barbara, and will be celebrating 25 years in the investment business next year.
As founder of the Squellati Group, Michael leads an experienced team of professionals that strive to provide outstanding service in asset management to a myriad of clients.
Michael believes the intellectual capital and commitment of his team is the catalyst for earning the confidence of affluent families, business owners, and institutions.
JOSEPH CHAN
Joseph Chan is a Senior Financial Associate, responsible for leading the day-to-day operations and client services for the group along with providing investment analysis and proposal creation.
Prior to working at Oppenheimer, Joseph spent 5 years working with Michael at UBS.
Joseph holds his Series 7 and Series 66 licenses and has passed the CFA Level I exam.
Born and raised in Santa Monica, Joseph graduated from the California State University of Northridge with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
