Biography:

Frank J. Pisano is Director of Investments with Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in Birmingham, Michigan. He has been with the company since 2002, and in the business of financial advice since 1996. Frank partnered with James Moran in 2020 to form the Pisano Moran Group at Oppenheimer.

Their group focuses on offering a comprehensive approach to managing wealth that begins with getting to know a client and the client’s family, financial situation and what matters most to them. With this, they work to create a customized wealth management approach that can be flexible as the client's needs and market conditions change. They provide access to the investment insights from Oppenheimer’s deep research team and strategists. Frank is driven by his passion for delivering excellent service and helping clients pursue their goals.

Frank resides with his wife Amy and two daughters in Birmingham. He enjoys watersports, snowmobiling and spending time in Up North Michigan. He also enjoys giving back to his community and is currently on Birmingham's Baldwin Public Library Board, as a Trustee.

Biography:

James S. Moran, CRPC® is a Financial Advisor with Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., he has over 23 years in this role. James started his career in 1998 with Merrill Lynch in the Auburn Hills office and joined Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in 2009 in the Birmingham office. James is a graduate of BrotherRice High School and Michigan State. He received his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation in July of 2004, through the College for Financial Planning. James holds the General Securities Representative License (Series 7), as well as the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination (series 65) and the Uniform Combined State Law Examination (Series 66). He is licensed as an agent for life/health insurance and variable contracts/annuities in the state of Michigan. 

James’s clients are families, business owners, corporate executives, emerging high net worth, and retirees. He designs detailed financial strategies, and creates wealth management strategies for his clients, taking into account their investment needs, their ability or willingness to assume risk, their time horizon, and other factors that may effect their investment decisions. As a retirement income planner, he works to make sure that his clients always have enough income to maintain their dignity and independence in retirement.

James resides with his wife and four children in Troy. Besides spending time with them, he enjoys golf, racquet sports, skiing and hunting. A former Big Brother with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America, he is also an active participant with Ducks Unlimited.
