EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR-INVESTMENTS
Kevin T. Henry, who has worked in the financial services industry since 2008, joined Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. full time in June 2016 as an Associate Director –Investments. Since joining Oppenheimer Mr. Henry has become a Portfolio Manager of Oppenheimer’s OMEGA Group, overseeing portfolios of a select group of clients, including high net worth individuals and non-profit institutions. Throughout his career, and at Oppenheimer, Mr. Henry has made education and promoting financial literacy a cornerstone of his business. Mr. Henry regularly serves as a guest speaker or host of financial seminars for groups varying from beginning investors to pre-retirees and holds the Certified Planner Board designation from the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards Inc.
Before Mr. Henry joined Oppenheimer, he worked at PNC Financial Services, first as a personal banker and subsequently as an investment advisor.
He earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Howard University and a Master’s of Business Administration degree from the University of Maryland. He was also a participant in Oppenheimer’s Summer Internship Program in 2015.
As a new homeowner in Washington, DC, Mr. Henry spends much of his leisure time on renovation projects, or catching a local sporting or music event. He is an active member of the National Black MBA Association and the Alumni Clubs of both Howard University and the University of Maryland.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
Ghaffar Khan is a Senior Financial Associate at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. and a key member of the Allied Stewardship Group, a financial advisory team managing investment assets for institutional, nonprofit, and individual clients. With nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry, Mr. Khan brings a strong blend of operational expertise, technical knowledge, and client-focused service to his role.
Mr. Khan began his career at Morgan Stanley, where he supported Financial Advisor-directed investment programs, ensuring adherence to investment guidelines and firm protocols. He collaborated closely with financial advisors and supported the onboarding of new hires, while acting as a key liaison between advisors and operational teams to improve efficiency and service delivery.
In 2015, Mr. Khan joined Oppenheimer’s corporate headquarters in New York City as a Product Support Manager within the Investment Program Administration team. In this role, he partnered closely with IT and Product Development teams to support and test platform enhancements. He also assisted Financial Advisors in developing Consulting Group Advisor Proposals—comprehensive investment plans tailored to clients’ risk tolerance and long-term strategic goals. Mr. Khan later advanced to Associate Director of Oppenheimer’s OMEGA Group, a division of Oppenheimer Asset Management that specializes in customized discretionary portfolios.
In 2021, he joined the Washington, DC-based Allied Stewardship group, where he leads the team’s operations and manages client interactions, with a strong focus on understanding and addressing the unique needs of each client.
Mr. Khan enjoys cycling, reading, and watching movies. He is also interested in becoming more involved in the local community and is actively seeking opportunities to engage with nonprofit organizations in the Washington, DC area.
