David A. Bittermann, CFA, is Director of Investments and Branch Manager of the Fort Worth, TX office of Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. He serves clients from all walks of life, all levels of net worth, and in all parts of the country, in various stages of pre-retirement or retirement. David delivers tailored advice geared to help address vital life questions, and he develops collaborative strategies to address critical needs and milestones.

Using a wide variety of resources, he assists each client with identifying their expectations and goals, while assessing the associated risks. After learning all he can about each individual, an investment plan is constructed using the “Core- Satellite” approach.

David graduated with honors in Economics from Duke University. He learned a great deal about the practical side of business while working at IBM and a nationally known real estate company. He earned an MBA from SMU before entering the financial services industry in 1983. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA institute as well as FINRA Series 3, 7, 9, 10, 63, and 65 registrations.
