Our Team

Motaz Ashri is an Executive Director – Investments and Co-Founder of The Ever Group at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in Miami, Florida. He works with individuals, families, and business owners to help them navigate the complexities of building, preserving, and transitioning wealth.

Motaz’s approach is grounded in thoughtful listening, strategic thinking, and a commitment to developing long-term client relationships. He brings discipline, clarity, and a global perspective to each engagement, delivering customized, needs-based strategies aligned with clients’ investment objectives. His areas of focus include investment management, private banking, wealth planning, and family office services.

Motaz earned a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity engineering from The American University in Cairo, Egypt, and is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®). His experience and training allow him to help clients consider their financial decisions within the broader context of their personal, business, and legacy goals.

Working with both domestic and international clients, Motaz provides personalized guidance while drawing upon the resources and capabilities of Oppenheimer.

Outside of the office, Motaz is passionate about fitness and longevity and has a strong appreciation for equestrian sports. He frequently spends time in Wellington supporting friends who compete in show jumping and polo. He also enjoys swimming, scuba diving, and traveling with his son.

Huston Lorenzo is an Executive Director – Investments and Co-Founder of The Ever Group at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in Miami, Florida. With more than a decade of experience in the financial services industry, he works with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients globally, providing tailored investment, risk management, and wealth planning strategies.

Huston brings discipline, teamwork, and a strategic mindset to his role as a portfolio manager. Throughout his career, he has collaborated closely with investment, legal, and tax professionals to help clients navigate complex financial decisions, including investment management, tax and estate planning, and multigenerational wealth preservation.

Huston earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Pennsylvania State University, where he played collegiate baseball. Fluent in English and Spanish, he works with both domestic and Latin American clients, providing highly personalized service while considering the cultural and financial complexities of managing wealth across global markets.

His client-first approach combines technical experience with a deep understanding of each client’s individual circumstances, priorities, and long-term objectives.

Outside of the office, Huston enjoys baseball, golf, chess, boating, culinary experiences, and traveling with his wife and son.

Mardelis Luna is a Client Service Associate with The Ever Group at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in Miami, Florida. She supports the team in delivering a high level of service to both domestic and international clients, helping ensure their day-to-day needs are handled with care, responsiveness, and attention to detail.

Mardelis brings a background in business administration, international business, and client relations to her role. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from Florida International University (FIU) and also holds a degree from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE).

Fluent in English and Spanish, Mardelis is committed to providing attentive, reliable support and building strong relationships with the clients and families she serves. Outside of work, Mardelis enjoys exploring her interests in fashion and digital marketing, spending time with friends and family, and discovering new experiences and adventures.
