Christopher Lazos has worked in the financial services industry since 2002, and joined Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. ("Oppenheimer") in 2008. In 2016, the firm awarded Chris the title of Managing Director – Investments. In the same year, and subsequently from 2017 through 2021, he was named as one of the Top 25 Regional Advisors Under 40 by OnWallStreet Magazine. Additionally, Chris has been recognized by Forbes as a Top Next Generation Wealth Advisor from 2017 to 2021, as well as one of the Best-In-State Wealth Advisors every year from 2018 through 2025*. In 2021, Chris spearheaded efforts to establish an Oppenheimer presence in Puerto Rico, catering to individuals and businesses who relocated to the island.

Lazos manages a concierge practice for a limited number of clients. Among Chris’s strongest client relationships are entrepreneurs, corporate executives, partners at legal firms and retirees who have accumulated significant wealth. His minimum for new business is $5 million, unless there are extenuating circumstances. By keeping his practice to a relatively small number of relationships, Chris offers an exceptional service model that focuses on in-depth financial planning, institutional level investment management, periodic scheduled contact, and rapid response to any questions or inquiries with a 24 hour resolution standard. 

Chris maintains a formal investment process, which enables him to determine each client’s risk tolerance, construct an appropriate asset allocation model, implement it, review it regularly, and as needed, rebalance it. He may recommend integrating alternative and non-correlated assets with traditional assets, where appropriate, for qualified investors. 

Another major strength of Chris’s practice is his ability to collaborate with his clients’ other professional advisors, such as tax and legal advisors as well as family and multi-family offices. In collaborating with these other professionals, Chris works to create a coordinated effort designed to help the client reach his or her financial goals.

Chris has three children with his wife Marissa, enjoys skiing, golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family. He has also been a long-time participant in philanthropic projects and is a passionate advocate for Shatterproof and a proud charter member of the National September 11^th Memorial and Museum.

Sayke R. Reilley has worked in the financial services industry in New York City since 1998, and joined Oppenheimer and The Lazos Group in 2015. Mr. Reilley has worked with Managing Director-Investments, Chris Lazos directly and indirectly for 15 years.

Mr. Reilley’s career has been dedicated to serving his client base, consisting of executives from publicly traded companies, nonprofit organizations, and small business owners by growing and protecting their assets. He achieves this through his highly disciplined approach, his creative and informed style, and his personal passion for developing meaningful experiences and deep advocacy for each client.

A graduate of Hunter College, Reilley earned his Bachelor of Arts degree double majoring in history and political science. He has also continued his education at Hunter College with graduate studies in anthropology. A native of New Jersey, Sayke resides in both New York’s Upper West Side and Southern New Jersey, where he maintains a keen interest in his hometown of Mt. Holly. Reilley volunteers as a wrestling coach at Rancocas Valley High School, where he was district champion and MVP in 1993. He also volunteers for and supports several other charitable organizations including Make a Kid Happy Holiday Drive for New York City Children’s Center – Office of Mental Health; Shatterproof; and Take the Lead Greater Philadelphia for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania.

Mr. Reilley has a passion for connecting with people, and values the power of diversity. He is an avid traveler, having spent several years living and working abroad part-time in London, Beijing, and Hong Kong. He enjoys gardening, good food, classical music, and fine arts.

John Mormile began his tenure at Oppenheimer in 2004 and has been an integral part of The Lazos Group since 2012. Throughout his career, John has prided himself on providing the highest level of service to each and every client. His operational knowledge and expertise have served the group in a myriad delivering an exceptional client experience. John oversees, but is not limited to, the execution of complex portfolios and unique tasks that support the success of each financial plan.

John received his BA from Baruch College with a focus on Finance and Economics. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, John, his wife, and their two young children now reside in Middletown, New Jersey. In his leisure, John enjoys cooking, travel, and spending time with his family.

Claudia is an essential team member, focusing on alternative investment administration, strategic operations, and personalized client support. She continues to cultivate strong, meaningful connections both internally and externally to ensure that clients receive the premium level of service they deserve.
