Jim McNamara, Managing Director - Investments has been in the financial services industry since 1980 and joined Oppenheimer in 1981. He has been recognized as a member of the prestigious 2025 Chairman’s Council at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc..

Jim was named by Forbes as a Best-in-State Wealth Advisor in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. He focuses on delivering comprehensive investment guidance to high-net-worth clients, including asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager selection, and estate planning strategies.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Fordham University and is a graduate of Fordham Prep.

Jim resides in Jupiter with his wife, Maryann. He enjoys tennis, golf, music, and spending time with family.

Sean McNamara, Associate Director - Investments has been in the financial services industry since 2012 and rejoined Oppenheimer in 2022, having begun his career with the firm from 2012 to 2016. He focuses on asset allocation, portfolio management, and business development, working with clients to deliver thoughtful, customized investment strategies.

Prior to rejoining Oppenheimer, Sean spent six years at UBS, where he served as a Wealth Strategy Associate for a leading wealth management team in New York. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Sean holds a Bachelor’s degree from Manhattan College and is a graduate of Don Bosco Prep.

He resides in Manhattan with his wife, Emily and their daughter. Outside of work, he holds a private pilot’s license and enjoys cooking and painting.

Diana has worked in the financial services industry since 2008, joining Oppenheimer in 2015. The prior seven years in the industry were spent working in Operations at Stifel. Her background in Operations has given her the expertise required to open and service complex accounts.

Diana lives in Jupiter with her daughter Sonia. She enjoys reading, riding her bike and going to the beach.
