Duane Cabrera is a Financial Advisor at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. (“Oppenheimer”) and co-leads a wealth management team headquartered in Radnor, PA. His clients include founders, members of senior management, and professionals experiencing challenges from outsized financial events, illiquid assets in private and publicly-held companies, and concentrated equity positions. His team brings over 25 years of cross disciplined experience and integrated capabilities that go beyond traditional wealth management and result in more comprehensive, tailored strategies. His clients benefit from the attention and support of a boutique family office housed within a well-established, independent financial services organization. Duane operates with an unwavering commitment to integrity, objectivity and professionalism.

He began his career in the insurance industry in 1989. In 1996, Duane joined Vanguard’s Personal Financial Planning Service, initially working with clients and ultimately managing 150 employees that served 10,000+ clients annually. In 2006, he turned his attention to a small family-owned business, while concurrently creating a unique insurance agency focused on helping seniors with their Medicare Insurance decisions.

Duane is a graduate of Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania, where he earned his B.A. in Economics. He also holds the General Securities Representative License (Series 7) and the Uniform Combined State Law Examination (Series 66). Duane also holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP)® designation by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc., the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)® designation by the American College of Financial Services, and the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU)® designation by the American College of Financial Services. He is also licensed as an agent for life and health insurance in FL and PA.

Duane lives in Reading, Pennsylvania with his wife and two children.
