Sole Financial Advisor to Corpay, Inc. on $2.4 Billion Recommended Offer for Alpha Group International plc

The Public M&A team of Oppenheimer Europe are advising Corpay, Inc. on its recommended cash offer for London-listed Alpha Group International plc, a landmark cross-border transaction in the UK foreign exchange sector
Corpay, Inc. (“Corpay”) and Alpha Group International plc (“Alpha”) have announced that Corpay intends to acquire Alpha for a consideration of £1.8 billion (approximately $2.4 billion) in cash, in a recommended transaction. Oppenheimer Europe Limited is acting as sole financial advisor to Corpay, Inc.
This marquee transaction for Corpay will accelerate Corpay’s existing corporate cross-border business, and in addition, will unlock significant opportunities via Alpha’s leading institutional business servicing clients in the private capital markets.
The transaction is the largest public M&A transaction in the UK financials sector announced so far in 2025, and the second-largest M&A transaction in Corpay’s history.
