Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. acted as Exclusive Financial Advisor to AMG Brands ("AMG") on its merger with Lornamead Products ("Lornamead"), a portfolio company of Sojourner Consumer Partners, in a transaction valued at approximately $279 million. The combination announced today brings together two highly complementary businesses with established capabilities in brand management, manufacturing, sourcing, innovation and omni-channel distribution, creating a scaled platform of highly efficacious, value-priced consumer staple items for the home and body.
AMG is a leading provider of household and personal care brands, delivering quality products at prices consumers can afford. Its portfolio of trusted owned and licensed brands includes Wizard, Handi-Wrap, Scrub Free, Xtra, Ashley Belle and Yardley London. The Company has developed longstanding relationships with leading retailers, including Dollar General, Dollar Tree and Walmart, through its global sourcing platform and innovation capabilities.
Lornamead is a diversified manufacturer and marketer of specialty oral care and personal care products with a portfolio of heritage brands, including Yardley London, Finesse, Aqua Net and Lypsyl. The company is also the leading supplier of private label oral care products to retailers across North America.
