Over the last 50 years the gender gap in the life sciences and physical sciences space has steadily closed. Back in 1970, women held only about 14% of the jobs in the area. In 2019, that figure grew to 45%. While there's still a ways to go, the progress made to date has been underpinned by inspirational trailblazers, like this episode’s guest, Dr. Daphne Haim-Langford, who have paved the way for all of those who follow.
