Oppenheimer’s Tech Group tripled revenue once again in 2021 as the team partnered with our ECM Group to bring over forty companies public through IPOs and SPAC transactions. Our SPAC ECM team was particularly busy with SPAC IPOs while also acting as lead agent on multiple Equity and Convertible Debt PIPEs to catalyze subsequent combinations. Strongly supported by our professional M&A team, we acted as exclusive advisor on four SPAC combinations, representing both SPACs and Companies merging with SPACs. Our team also advised directly on strategic M&A transactions across Edtech, Software, Industrial Technology, Fintech, Consumer Internet and Communications Software, closing multiple transactions in the month of December alone.
